Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collector to join our team at Rent a Wheel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding rent to own accounts. This role requires strong communication skills (Bilingual is a plus), and ability to analyze accounts effectively. The Collector will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify outstanding debts and payment history.
- Communicate with clients via phone to discuss outstanding balances and payment options (Bilingual is a must to communicate with our customers).
- Maintain professional phone etiquette while addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Document all interactions with clients in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in revenue cycle management by following up on unpaid claims and field visiting as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service to foster positive relationships with clients during the collection process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in debt collection or a related field, preferably within the Rent to Own industry.
- Strong understanding of collection processes
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Spanish is a must.
- Ability to analyze accounts effectively and develop strategies for successful collections.
- Proficient in customer service practices, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in finance or healthcare is preferred.
