Location: Buffalo, NY
Pay: $43.10 – $44.10/hour
Shift: Typically 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexible)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations (NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E).
Experience with PLCs (Modicon, Allen Bradley), VFDs, and HMIs in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and parts specifications.
Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and components, including single and three-phase wiring up to 600V.
Experience leading, training, and mentoring a team of electricians.
As a Manufacturing Electrician Supervisor, you will oversee and guide a team of electricians to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on budget. You’ll be the go-to technical resource, solving complex electrical issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
You will also:
Plan and manage electrical projects – determine specifications, select contractors, schedule installations, estimate time and materials, and maintain project documentation.
Lead your team – delegate tasks, provide guidance, mentor staff, and monitor progress toward goals.
Ensure operational excellence – identify and track recurring line issues, respond to daily operational challenges, and provide technical support to resolve production problems.
Promote safety – enforce safety protocols, participate in all safety programs, and ensure compliance with corporate and plant policies.
Communicate effectively – with contractors, consultants, vendors, shift supervisors, and other stakeholders.
Support GMPs, plant safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
Conduct safety and sanitation audits on a timely basis.
Operate industrial equipment including walk-behind hand trucks and forklifts.
Understand general equipment mechanics and diagnose problems.
Comfortable working alone across all areas of the plant.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented mindset.
This is a hands-on supervisory role in a high-speed manufacturing environment, ideal for an experienced electrician with strong leadership, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
