POSITION SUMMARY
The Tetra Production Machine Operator (PMO) reports to the Production Supervisor and is based out of our Hendersonville, North Carolina location. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the downstream machines run smoothly, function within specification, and produce the products that have been scheduled for the shift while ensuring a quality product is produced and all safety requirements are followed.
Responsibilities of the PMO
*DOUBLE VERIFICATION .
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in D4A correctly and at the appropriate times.
- Competent to complete D4A correctly and at the appropriate times.
- Verify raw materials being used PRIOR and DURING production throughout the line. (Film, Overwrap, Straws, Trays, Multipack, Wrap)
- Verify Code/Tags/Item # being ran PRIOR and DURING Production. (Case Tag, Tray Number)
- Complete Case Packaging D4A forms.
- Verify the correct glue is being used during production.
- Troubleshoot problems alongside the Lead that may arise in a prompt manner and inform Supervisor as needed.
- Update Lead/Supervisor frequently throughout the shift.
- Complete Daily, Weekly, and Monthly cleanliness according to CIL Board and 5s in association to All Packaging Equipment areas (including Palletizer).
- Complete change of flavors or raw materials in accordance with SOP in a timely manner.
- Complete any Preventative Maintenance (PMs) that may need to be completed.
- Communicate with Lead to achieve sufficient results throughout the shift with any needs that may arise.
- Line Clearance of Previous Production to ensure no merging of Products.
- Stage Packaging Equipment Raw Materials in 5s location for Current and Scheduled Production.
- Verify performance along with Lead/Supervisor on D4A checks throughout Shift. DOUBLE VERIFICATION
- Prepare and Perform Shift Handoffs with previous and upcoming shift. Complete additional tasks that may be required by plant needs.
- Work closely with Palletizer Operator to ensure correct pallet type, correct tag, and correct staging materials.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of manufacturing experience, as a machine operator
- Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience in the food/beverage industry
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English.
- Mechanically inclined
- Comfortable with technology and computers
- Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task.
- Proven organizational skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical manufacturing setting.
FREQUENT: Ability to talk and hear; ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend and/or crouch; push/pull; lift uplift up to 50 pounds; use of hands and fingers to operate machinery/equipment and all manual and electronic equipment in the area of responsibility. Exposure to wet and humid conditions and fluctuations in ambient temperature (seasonal).
OCCASIONAL: Squatting, kneeling, ability to reach above and at shoulder height. Ability to wear a dust mask, and perform Confined Entry using the LOTO program. Exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals.
VISION: Ability to use close and distance vision, as well as color and peripheral vision with or without correction. Must be able to visually detect obstacles and potential dangers in a fast-paced production environment involving high-speed equipment and powered industrial lift equipment.
HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Exposure to noise levels from pumps, machinery, forklift traffic, bottle lines and exhaust fans.
