United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a motivated Radiologic Technology student to serve as a Radiology Associate, providing essential support to the Radiology Department. This role is designed to develop practical skills and prepare students for a career as a Radiologic Technologist. Responsibilities include all general radiologic processes; assisting technical and clerical staff, facilitating patient and equipment transport, maintaining supplies, supporting patient flow, and performing quality assurance tasks. The position emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality customer service for patients, medical staff, employees, and regulatory agencies.

Imaging Support Services, UHS Wilson Medical Center
Work Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$16.00 - $20.16 per hour, depending on experience
This position is not eligible for benefits.

Job Responsibilities

Transport patients safely from waiting areas and hospital rooms to radiologic procedure areas.

Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies, maintaining linens, and ensuring cleanliness of procedural areas.

Support patient transfers between stretchers, wheelchairs, and examination tables, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Provide administrative support through completion of general clerical tasks.

Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
Position Qualifications

Current enrollment in a Radiologic Technology education program
