Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dependable Cargo Van Couriers to join our dynamic delivery team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages and goods using a box truck, cargo van, or sprinter - ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers. Duties
- Safely operate cargo vans, box trucks, or sprinter vans to deliver packages across designated routes.
- Load and unload items carefully, adhering to manual handling best practices and safe lifting procedures.
- Follow all traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines, and company policies during route driving.
- Use mobile devices or GPS systems for navigation, route planning, and real-time communication with dispatch.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, verifying recipient identities, and addressing customer inquiries professionally.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or forklifts for loading or unloading shipments.
Qualifications
- Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with cargo vans or box trucks.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including manual handling and moving heavy items.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or courier experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices required.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for navigation and communication purposes.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages regularly while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Experience with warehouse operations or material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is beneficial.

Pay: $24.24 - $29.20 per hour
