Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure excellent customer service and build lasting relationships
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Develop innovative beverage recipes and stay current on industry trends in mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, and brewing techniques
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours by managing time effectively while maintaining high service standards
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless food and beverage service during events or banquets
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development
- Experience working with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while providing exceptional customer service
- Background in food handling, food safety procedures, and cash handling processes in the food industry
- Previous restaurant or banquet experience preferred; familiarity with hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Excellent math skills for retail math, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately
