Locations
Multiple facilities throughout:
- Long Island
- New York City
- Queens
- Brooklyn
- Manhattan
- Westchester County
(Placement based on availability and operational needs)
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong swimming ability required
- Ability to remain alert, professional, and responsive in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills
Required Certifications
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (Required)
- American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (Required, current)

Important Information:
- Completion of the course does not guarantee certification; all American Red Cross skill and evaluation requirements must be met
- Participation in training does not guarantee employment
- Training courses are separate from employment and are not considered paid working time
- Course registration is subject to applicable refund, transfer, and attendance policies
- Reimbursement is issued only upon successful completion of the season in good standing
- Candidates are responsible for maintaining all required certifications throughout employment
Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in and around the pool
- Enforce all facility rules and safety regulations professionally
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies
- Provide first aid, CPR, and emergency care as needed
- Ensure pool area is safe, clean, and free of hazards
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Attend required trainings, meetings, and in-service sessions
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management
