We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team, committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic environment that supports food safety, quality assurance, and compliance with industry regulations.
A successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge and application of sanitation procedures in a food manufacturing environment. As well as have a minimum of 1 year sanitation experience and knowledge of GMP. Being bilingual in Spanish is not a requirement, but it is a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Using various cleaning food grade chemicals and be able to clean by hand.
- Maintain SSOP’s and perform the various sanitation duties.
Requirements :
- Able to move and handle various cleaning tools and operate cleaning equipment
- Able to recognize hazardous substance labels
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in cold temperatures for a long period of time (30-40 degree refrigerated plant)
- Be able to bend, stoop, lift, twist, reach, squat
- Must be able to recognize substance labels and follow proper instructions.
The schedule requires a sanitation worker to be able to work weekends and holidays as needed. Shift Schedule: Saturday through Wednesday Day Shift Hours
