Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately while also engaging in upselling techniques to enhance their experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance sales opportunities.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and culinary techniques to answer guest inquiries effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or as a Server in a restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- A proactive approach to upselling and enhancing guest experiences is highly valued.
