OneSparQ is looking for a Sprinkler Fitter to service the D.C, Maryland, Virginia area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform service, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of commercial fire sprinkler systems.
- Inspect sprinkler systems, valves, piping, pumps, and related fire protection equipment.
- Diagnose system issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Repair leaks, damaged piping, valves, sprinkler heads, and other system components.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems remain operational and compliant.
- Conduct testing of sprinkler systems and associated components.
- Identify deficiencies and communicate recommended repairs to customers and management.
- Read and interpret sprinkler system drawings, plans, and documentation.
- Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and required paperwork accurately.
- Coordinate with customers, building managers, and other contractors while working on-site.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Follow NFPA, OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements.
- Respond to service calls and prioritize work based on customer and system needs.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing fire sprinkler systems
- Knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action, and/or deluge sprinkler systems
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
