Duties
- Residential staff assist with activities of daily living such as meals, medications, personal care as needed, leisure and recreational activities, and community events as outlined in the plan of care.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate personnel.
Skills
- Experience in working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
