Passarini Law is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal specializing in Family Law to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in managing family law cases, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and assisting attorneys throughout the litigation process. Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing case files and maintaining document management systems such as iManage.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents related to family law matters, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources to support
- Manage calendar deadlines, court filings, and procedural requirements to ensure timely submissions in accordance with local court rules.
- Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as data entry into Clio case management software, filing documents electronically or physically, and handling client correspondence.
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and third parties to facilitate communication and document exchange efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in family law
- Excellent research skills using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal research tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Effective interviewing skills combined with professional client communication abilities.
- Knowledge of procedural law requirements across different jurisdictions; experience supporting civil litigation is advantageous.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain high ethical standards.
