Location: Vincennes, IN
Pay Rate: $10.00 - $15.00 hourly, based off experience and performance.
Description:
Guard, patrol, or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate x-ray and metal detector equipment.
Tasks: Call police or fire department in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Circulate among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Utilize company visitor policies to issue visitor passes and ensure each visitor is logged for accountability

Attributes: Experience: 1 years in a security field or Law Enforcement/ Military Experience with an Honorable Discharge Education: High School Diploma/ GED required Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit or stand for at least 8 hrs. a day with the ability to conduct walking patrols during shift
Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license Must be able to pass a drug screen Must not have any felony charges Have the ability to obtain a firearms carry license for the state of Indiana
