Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance & Janitorial Specialist to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming, sanitary environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following established safety protocols for storage, mixing, and disposal to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, surface disinfection, window cleaning, and sanitation procedures to uphold high hygiene standards.
- Execute light maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and upkeep of cleaning equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all manual handling activities involving heavy lifting or moving supplies to prevent injuries.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting issues promptly and assisting with basic repairs or adjustments as needed to keep the premises in optimal condition.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely according to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain the dealership’s outdoor areas, including power washing, weed removal, landscaping upkeep, litter removal, and other general exterior maintenance as needed.
- Familiarity with general facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and sanitation practices.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, chemical handling, and equipment operation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and visitors.
- Previous porter or maintenance roles demonstrating reliability in performing routine cleaning and upkeep duties efficiently.
