As an Industrial Electrician at our Chattanooga Facility , you will build and install switchgear and electrical components in custom metal equipment centers while interpreting detailed electrical drawings to meet precise customer specifications. We are currently hiring Industrial Electricians on multiple shifts. Day: M-Th | 7 am - 530 pm . Night: M-Th | 5 pm - 330 am .
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Plan layouts and install wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breakers .
Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, grinders, and saws .
Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, reach, and work on ladders for extended periods in physically demanding production environments
Frequent use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation, tool use, and repetitive tasks, requiring a full range of motion in the upper extremities
Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 lbs , including moving carts and production materials
Comfortable working in variable conditions, including high noise levels (85+ dba), dust, heat, cold, confined spaces, heights, and around moving machinery
Requires strong coordination, vision, communication skills, and sustained focus to safely operate equipment, follow instructions, and perform tasks simultaneously
