Technical Service Advisor
A global manufacturer of HVAC systems is looking for an experienced Technical Service Advisor to support contractors, manufacturer representatives, and customers at their Rochester, NH facility. This is a full-time, direct-hire role at an ESOP company offering fantastic benefits and a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities of the Technical Service Advisor
- Provide documentation and technical support/troubleshooting for products including plumbing, electrical, gas, and venting
- Help create technical service procedures and bulletin documentation
- Attend field job sites for product support as required, and communicate feedback to sales, service, and engineering groups
- Act as a liaison between technical support and engineering as new troubleshooting requirements become necessary
- Participate in new product development process by attending product and service review meetings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Technical Service Advisor
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree in a technical major preferred
- 3+ years of experience with HVAC systems, equipment, design, applications, and service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and CAD
- Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings as well as engineering specifications and design
- Knowledge and understanding of boiler and water heater sequencing, building management systems, and building automation systems (BACNet, Lon Works, Modbus)
Pay for this Technical Service Advisor position depends on experience, ranging from $70K-$80K/year. We look forward to connecting with you!
