Associates has advised foundations, endowments, private clients, pensions, government
agencies, insurance groups, sovereign wealth funds and healthcare institutions on constructing,

Job Description:
The Opportunity
We seek a talented individual to join our Retirement, Insurance, and Government practice as a
Senior Investment Director. This role will be an important part of a dynamic team dedicated to
helping clients meet or exceed their investment objectives through thoughtful portfolio
construction, rigorous manager evaluation, and high-quality client service.
Responsibilities
- Construct diversified portfolios with varying investment objectives, policies, and strategic
asset allocation strategies in partnership with senior team members for a sophisticated
client base
- Evaluate investment managers across a broad range of asset classes, including public
equity, fixed income, private investments, and alternative strategies
- Communicate directly with client in-house investment staff, investment committees, and
boards to develop and present investment recommendations and decisions through clear,
high-quality materials
- Prepare analysis, lead and review the preparation of materials for internal discussions and
external client meetings
- Contribute to team efforts across investment strategy, portfolio management, manager
research, marketing, team strategy and business development
- Mentor and oversee junior colleagues in their career development
Qualifications
- BA/BS required; MBA or CFA strongly preferred
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in related role or broader industry
- Intellectually curious, self-motivated, and eager to build experience across investments
and commercial activities
- Experience presenting complex topics to clients with varying levels of sophistication across
both traditional and alternative asset classes
- Familiarly with liability-aware investing is preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, including experience
mentoring junior colleagues
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt effectively as needs evolve
- Strong analytical, technical (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, proprietary systems exposure),
project management, and communication skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Base salary range for this role:
Pay Range Minimum:
181500
Pay Range Maximum:
246800
In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
