Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This position is essential in maintaining the quality and appearance of our clients' clothing, contributing to an exceptional customer experience in the hospitality and dry cleaning sectors.
Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines to remove wrinkles and creases from garments efficiently.
- Inspect garments for stains or damages before pressing, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Handle various types of fabrics, applying appropriate techniques for each material.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with laundry operations as needed, including sorting and folding items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain workflow efficiency.
Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and laundry operations is a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in garment care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
