This is not a large corporate accounting department.
You will be the only person in the accounting department besides ownership.
There is no layered structure.
This is a small wholesale company where you will be directly responsible for accounting execution.
Your backup is ownership.
If you are looking for a narrow “accounts payable only” role where you handle one repetitive task, this is not that job.
You will touch multiple areas of the accounting function and grow into more responsibility over time.
What This Role Actually Is
We are a wholesale importer with active inventory, daily transactions, and operational complexity.
You will support and eventually manage core accounting functions, including:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- General ledger maintenance
- Bank reconciliations

- Month-end closing support
You are not joining a department — you are becoming the accounting function alongside ownership.
Responsibility increases as you demonstrate capability.
