We are looking for a dedicated and patient focused Orthopedic Technician to join our team. We are a busy medical office looking for an individual who excels in an environment where teamwork and patient care are highly valued. We are willing to train for the skills that are needed for this position but some experience in a medical office is preferred. This position will be assisting our doctors in the Orthopedic office and will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assists patients to room, takes vitals and records history
- Assists doctor with injections, ultrasounds, procedures, casting, splinting and paperwork
- Post operative bandage changes and removal of stitches
- Wound care
- Washing, packaging and sterilizing surgical equipment
- Calling in prescriptions and refills
