We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated Dental Surgical Technician to join our growing implant team. This position will primarily support full-arch dental implant surgeries, including All-on-X procedures, extractions, bone grafting, and immediate-load provisional restorations.The ideal candidate is organized, confident in a surgical setting, attentive to detail, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience. Experience with full-arch implant surgery is strongly preferred; however, we are willing to train an exceptional surgical dental assistant with a strong desire to learn.Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during full-arch implant surgeries and other advanced surgical procedures
- Prepare the surgical suite, instruments, equipment, and implant components
- Maintain proper sterilization, infection-control, and OSHA standards
- Review surgical cases and confirm that all required materials and components are available
- Take digital X-rays, CBCT scans, intraoral scans, photographs, and impressions as needed
- Assist with extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, and immediate-load procedures
- Support the restorative and laboratory workflow for provisional and final full-arch prostheses
- Monitor and comfort patients before, during, and after treatment
- Provide clear postoperative instructions and follow-up support
- Accurately document procedures, materials, implant information, and clinical notes
- Maintain surgical inventory and communicate supply needs
- Work closely with doctors, laboratory technicians, treatment coordinators, and clinical team members
- Help maintain an efficient schedule and a calm, professional surgical environment
Qualifications
- Dental assisting or surgical dental assisting experience required
- Full-arch, All-on-X, oral surgery, or implant experience strongly preferred
- Current dental assisting certifications as required by the state
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control procedures
- Experience with CBCT imaging, intraoral scanning, and dental software is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused during lengthy or complex procedures
- Comfortable working with surgical instruments, blood, and medically complex patients
- Willingness to learn new technology, techniques, and full-arch workflows
