Create Meaningful Moments. Build Lasting Connections.
At Midwest Residential, we believe assisted living should be filled with purpose, connection, and joy. We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to create engaging experiences that help our residents remain active, connected, and fulfilled.
This role goes beyond planning activities. You'll serve as a welcoming guide for new residents, helping them transition into our community, build relationships, and feel at home. You'll develop a vibrant monthly activity calendar, coordinate special events, and create opportunities that encourage residents to stay engaged physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
Our Weekend Activity Assistants will implement the activity calendar you develop, allowing you to focus on program planning, resident engagement, and building meaningful relationships throughout the community.

Collaborate with nursing, caregiving, dining, therapy, and leadership teams to ensure programming supports resident well-being and individualized care.
Develop activity schedules and provide guidance and resources to Weekend Activity Assistants to ensure activities are carried out consistently.
Build relationships with community organizations, entertainers, volunteers, schools, and local groups to expand programming opportunities.
Encourage resident participation while adapting activities to accommodate varying abilities and interests.
Maintain participation records, resident assessments, calendars, and documentation in accordance with assisted living regulations and company standards.
Manage activity supplies, decorations, and department resources responsibly.
