Duties
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide food demos when applicable, and recommend items through upselling techniques to enhance their dine-in experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized front area, including stocking and checking back with guests if they are satisfied with food.
- Handle cash drawer operations responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling, balancing registers at shift end, and managing cash register operations smoothly.
- Engage customers with friendly communication skills, promoting store promotions and loyalty programs while fostering a welcoming environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and cash register operations will help you succeed in this role.
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise, are essential for building positive relationships.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers confidently.
