We are seeking a dedicated MDS Consultant / Clinical Reimbursement Consultant in Northern California to join our dynamic team.

Duties
- Complete and submit MDS assessments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct regular quality checks on MDS documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Analyze patient data to recommend improvements in care plans and reimbursement processes.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to gather relevant information for MDS submissions.
- Stay updated with changes in federal and state regulations that affect MDS and reimbursement practices.
- Provide training and support to clinical staff on MDS-related processes and documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of reimbursement strategies that align with best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MDS assessment and clinical reimbursement roles in Skilled Nursing Facility
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and other reimbursement systems.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in MDS software and electronic health record systems / PCC (point click care).
- Must be willing to Travel most of the time in the NorCal Region
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
