Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. This position is in Idaho Falls, ID. We are hiring for night shift and day shift. The night shift is from Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 pm-4:00 am. There is a $2 shift differential for the night shift and night shift starts at $27. The day shift is Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am-5:30 pm and the starting rate is $25. There are guaranteed $1 raises at the 6-month and year marks, so that within a year, you're earning $2 more than your starting wage.
We are looking for experienced people who know how to work in a team environment that can provide high quality performance. This position produces metal racking systems using Mig welding utilizing (GMAW) Gas metal arc welding, maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Welders must be able to demonstrate their welding abilities through destructive tests and are required to take and pass a 1G and a 3F weld test.
We do process background checks and drug test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned or requested.
- Welding certification to AWSD 1.1 is preferred
- Ability to maintain production and quality standards.
- Ability to utilize welding equipment and processes specified by the Company.
- Maintain and calibrate welding equipment.
- Ability to set-up fixtures.
- Generate a written report as required by the Company to document production activity.
- Follow all Safety Procedures
- Ability To Follow Directions
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret drawing for dimensions and weld patterns to determine quality adherence to engineering requirements. Ability to read process, procedure and instruction manuals.
- Math/Measuring; Demonstrate ability to Count, Add, subtract fractions and decimals; Read a Tape Measure to 1/16” increments.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Work is performed in a production environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, heavy equipment, and machinery.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motion.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally, team lift up to 110 lbs.
- Must be able to use hands, fingers, and arms to perform repetitive tasks, operate machinery, handle materials, and manipulate tools required for the position.
