American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with travel, orthopedic, and Da Vinci experience for a hospital Operating Room position requiring evening shifts, weekend availability, and holiday coverage.

Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
-
Evening shift hours: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
5 shifts per week on an 8-hour schedule
-
Weekend, call, and holiday coverage required
-
Must be available to arrive within 30 minutes of being called in

Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program; CST certification required
-
Prior travel experience required
-
Orthopedic surgical experience required
-
Hands-on scrubbing experience required
-
Da Vinci robotic surgical system experience required
-
BLS certification required
-
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility

Two references from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager within the past year and within the surgical specialty are required for consideration

License required if applicable

Function under the direct supervision of an RN to assist in nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient

Perform technical scrub duties with precise and efficient response to all intraoperative situations

Apply knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of OR equipment and instrumentation

May be asked to precept new staff members
