Blaze Pizza Team Member

We are currently seeking Team Members who can maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to create lively fun guest interactions in our restaurant.
As a front-line worker, not only do we want you to show your own individuality, but you'll get to help guests showcase theirs as they create their own pizzas made from artisanal quality ingredients at a super-fast speed. Our pizzas are then Fast Fired in our blazing hot oven and ready to eat in just 3 minutes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes and toppings based on customer preferences
- Handle food production tasks including dough preparation, topping assembly, and cooking techniques like grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling
- Ensure adherence to recipe specifications and portion control for consistent quality
- Maintain proper food handling practices and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary aide roles or food service environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
- Proven skills in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, knife skills, and meal preparation
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in high-volume production settings
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure quality consistency
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment
- Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary arts and customer satisfaction

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
