We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the drive to improve. Automotive experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us.
You will work alongside experienced technicians and service advisors while gaining hands-on experience performing vehicle maintenance, inspections, tires, brakes, and other automotive services.

Perform Meineke vehicle inspections on every vehicle assigned to you
Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services
Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
Perform basic brake and suspension repairs based on experience level
Check and replace filters, bulbs, batteries, wiper blades, and other maintenance items
Review inspection findings with the service advisor or manager
Learn proper diagnostic and repair procedures from experienced technicians
Test drive vehicles when appropriate to verify repairs
Take pride in your work and strive to fix vehicles correctly the first time
Ask questions when you are unsure and be willing to learn
Verify parts are correct before beginning repairs
Protect customer vehicles and keep them clean
Follow Meineke repair and safety procedures
Keep your work area clean and organized
Maintain tools and equipment properly
Assist with shop maintenance and cleaning
Help with stocking and general shop duties when needed
Work as part of the team to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the shop
Strong work ethic and motivation to learn
Dependable and punctual
Mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair
Ability to follow instructions and accept coaching
Positive attitude and willingness to help the team
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift approximately 45–50 lbs.
Basic automotive experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Automotive school, vocational training, or previous shop experience is a plus
ASE certifications are a plus but not required
This is not intended to be just an oil-change position. We want someone who is interested in learning the automotive repair business and developing into a skilled technician.
