Essential Job Functions
1. Regular and reliable attendance.
2. 3rd party setup and maintenance.
3. Contract negotiation with 3rd party suppliers.
4. 3rd party rate loading into ERP system.
5. Review and update existing contracts.
6. Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms.
7. Compliance Auditing.
8. Follow all KS Industries, LP safety, and customer policies and procedures.
9. Additional tasks as required.
10. Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions in English.
- Ability to communicate with employees and various business partners in a professional and courteous manner.
- Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills, Vista (Viewpoint) experience is a plus.
- Knowledge with Microsoft Office products.
- Able to understand the technicalities, including language of contractual agreements.
- Able to understand the needs of an organization as they relate to various contracts.
- Able to detect inaccuracies, ambiguities, or inconsistencies in the design of a contract.
- Good reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work independently within a culture of high accountability, ethics and integrity.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and participate in various meetings and discussions.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in business administration, law, contract management or related field preferred.
Experience in the oil and gas or general construction industry is preferred.
Physical & Mental Requirements
Working Conditions: The work environment and working conditions described here are representative of those that are typical of the job and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
Working Hours: Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-8’s and 4-10’s. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed.
