As a Business Development Intern at ECF, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of electrical engineering while honing your business acumen. You will work closely with our experienced team of professionals to identify new business opportunities, foster client relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of the company. Key responsibilities include:
ECF is seeking Business Development Intern who is available to work between 10-20 hours per week in the office during the summer.
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Hours: Flexible; schedule may vary based upon availability. Hours will be discussed with department lead upon start of the internship.
Job Functions & Responsibilities: A Business Development (BD) Internassists the BD team by researching and identifying potential clients, segmenting prospects, and preparing for outreach campaigns. They play a supportive role in ensuring the sales team has the right targets for their efforts.
We are looking for someone with an analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and present data to support business decisions, the ability to translate technical information into non-technical language, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Must be at least a rising junior in high school or be a college student at an accredited college or university seeking a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Must be creative as well as strategic.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess basic skills in Word and Excel.
- Candidates must have the ability to work in a standard office setting and operate standard office equipment inclusive of a computer.
Compensation: Internship is paid if candidate possesses a high school diploma.
