Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Route Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Deliver products accurately to multiple customer locations within assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns during deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards; report any issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed delivery logs, route sheets, and documentation of all transactions.
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and supporting team members as needed.
Experience
- Previous delivery driver experience with a proven track record of reliable route driving and customer service excellence.
- Hands-on warehouse experience including loading/unloading cargo, heavy lifting, and equipment operation like forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Familiarity with route planning, navigation tools, and delivery documentation processes.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day.
