We are seeking 2 dedicated and skilled Cooks to join our culinary team. One to work in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have experience in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration nutritional needs and preferences.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requirements.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
- Keep the kitchen area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in meal preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary field.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in menu planning and food presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
