Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef/Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of food operations within our establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment focused on excellence in food preparation and service
- Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection that highlights culinary creativity while meeting dietary restrictions and guest preferences
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food production, inventory control, and food handling procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision to deliver high-quality presentations and timely service
- Monitor inventory levels regularly, order supplies as needed, and control costs through effective inventory management strategies
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff members to promote professional growth and uphold the establishment’s standards of hospitality and service excellence
Qualifications
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- Demonstrated expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with banquet operations, catering services, and dietary department requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across shifts
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory management systems, and food industry best practices
- Experience in restaurant management including food service management, shift coordination, and customer service excellence
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a high-energy environment
