Analyze cost data related to vehicle procurement, parts shipments, and dealership logistics operations to prepare cost estimates for transportation and operational activities. Review supplier quotations, freight invoices, and carrier rate schedules to evaluate pricing structures and identify cost-effective transportation and procurement options. Prepare cost comparison analyses and estimate reports to support management decisions regarding vendor selection, shipping methods, and inventory planning. Monitor actual costs against projected estimates to identify variances and recommend cost control measures. Maintain cost databases including supplier pricing, carrier rates, and surcharges to improve the accuracy of future estimates. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to obtain pricing information and prepare periodic reports summarizing freight expenses and operational cost changes.Min. Edu.
