Jyl Craven Hair Design is an award-winning hair salon in Canton, GA, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, personable Salon Receptionist / Guest Coordinator to join our team!
This is so much more than answering phones. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you’ll play an important role in creating the exceptional salon experience our clients have come to expect.

Working as a receptionist/coordinator can give you a firsthand look at the beauty industry and help you decide whether becoming a professional Hair Designer is the right career path for you.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm
- Schedule and manage appointments by phone, text, and email
- Process sales and payments accurately
- Help coordinate each guest’s salon experience
- Communicate with and support our salon professionals
- Keep the salon clean, organized, stocked, and welcoming
- Maintain salon inventory and supplies
- Follow opening and closing procedures as needed
- Help create an upbeat, professional environment for both guests and team members
We're Looking for Someone Who
- Has at least 1 year of experience in hospitality, customer service, or another service-oriented environment (preferred)
- Genuinely enjoys helping and connecting with people
- Is friendly, positive, dependable, and professional
- Thrives in a team environment
- Has strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Is comfortable managing multiple computer platforms
- Is detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Has an interest in the beauty industry and/or professional salon environment
Schedule
Part-time: 20–25 hours per week
- Afternoons and evenings
- Some Saturdays required
- Closed Sundays
