Job Title: Grow Technician
Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Edith Cultivation | Albuquerque, New Mexico
Hourly Range: $16.50 per hour
Position Objective
The Grow Technician is an integral member of our cannabis cultivation team, responsible for executing cultivation plans and ensuring the optimal growth of cannabis plants. This role involves various tasks related to plant maintenance, harvesting, and general farm responsibilities.
Cultivation (40%)

Execute cutting and transplanting activities.

Conduct watering, labeling, and inventory data input.

Monitor and maintain plant care during the flowering phases.

Perform trimming, manipulating, staking, big leafing, and pruning.

Implement pest and disease control measures.

Operate and maintain cultivation systems and equipment.
Harvesting (30%)

Cut plants during harvesting, ensuring accuracy in weighing and inventory data input.

Execute drying and curing processes, including hanging and dry-racking flowers.

Maintain accurate record-keeping for grow notes, environmentals, timekeeping, and scheduling.
Sanitation (30%)

Perform daily sanitation duties across the farm premises and equipment.

Maintain cleanliness in grow chambers, bathrooms, break area, changing area, and locker area.
Please note that the percentage allocations are a general estimate and may vary based on business needs and priorities. Additional duties may be required as needed to support overall operations.
Education and Experience

Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Demonstrates eagerness to learn proprietary grow methods and new techniques/methodologies.

Possesses strong communication skills and a positive attitude, thriving in team environments.
A Plus, but Not Required

At least 2 years of experience in cannabis or a related field.
Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel)

7:30am – 4:30pm | Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday.

Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.

Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.

Ability to work in hot and humid conditions.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Mexico Food Handler License to support safe and compliant handling of cannabis products.
