Therapeutic Endeavors is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will help implement therapy plans designed to improve communication, fluency, articulation, and language skills for children and/or adults in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to clients as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Follow individualized treatment plans to support communication goals.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client progress and performance.
- Assist with preparing therapy materials, activities, and resources for sessions.
- Provide feedback to supervising SLP regarding client progress and challenges.
- Support clients in developing functional communication skills in clinical, school, and community settings.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and other confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and team members to reinforce therapy goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or related field.
- Current Florida SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with communication needs (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting communication development.
