Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Local Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to deliver freight efficiently within designated local routes. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and specialized trailers, across local delivery routes.
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring cargo is handled with care and secured properly for transit.
- Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), regulations during daily operations.
- Flexible Hours, Ability to park truck at home.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving within local areas.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers regulations.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials handling requirements.
- Excellent navigation skills using GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and clients.
