Mold Medics is looking for a motivated Jr. Technician / General Laborer to join our team!
This is the ideal position for someone who is handy, enjoys physical work, and isn't afraid of a hard day's work while looking to build a career. In this role, you will work on residential and light commercial projects to improve indoor air quality, working both independently and as part of a high-energy team.
Whether you come from a construction, HVAC, or professional cleaning background, we provide the training you need to excel in the restoration industry.
What We Offer
- Competitive Pay: $19–$20/hour plus eligibility for over $200 per month in bonuses.
- Stability: Guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week! We have NEVER done a seasonal layoff.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Dispatch: Report for work at our location in Carnegie, PA, and take a company vehicle to the job site.
- Execution: Assess the job site and execute the provided scope of work.
- Remediation: Conduct treatments for mold and air quality issues. This consists of approximately 50% demolition/material removal and 50% specialized cleaning.
- Communication: Maintain a professional demeanor while communicating with customers and management.
Requirements
- Resilience: Comfortable working in various residential environments, including basements, crawlspaces, and attics.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (demolition, cleaning, etc.).
- Safety: Able to work with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
- Background: Must have a clean criminal history and a clean driving record.
- Attitude: A positive, "can-do" attitude and strong communication skills.
