Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs, ensuring safety during transfers
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices to promote a healthy environment
- Communicate effectively with team members about patient progress or concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior care or disability support
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately
- Certification in CPR and First Aid; experience with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care or hospice is highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physically capable of supporting residents’ mobility needs
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engaging compassionately with clients
