Overview
Our team is hiring a Home-Based Builder to support our production team by completing Project Carpentry Projects from your own shop. You’ll build and finish pre-fabricated panel sets (we call them Project Sets) using standard lumber, screws, and siding—then paint them to spec. This is a great fit for an experienced, reliable carpenter who wants flexible, project-based work with strong earning potential.

How the Work Flows
- You work from your own shop/workspace (home-based)
- We assign you Project Sets (bundles of panel tasks approved for building)
- You build the panel pieces, then paint/finish them
- You submit completed Project Sets weekly at one of our intake sites:
- Carmichael
- Roseville
- Loomis
- Payments are issued weekly based on approved/accepted work
Responsibilities
- Build pre-fabricated panel components accurately and efficiently
- Perform angle cuts as required (must be comfortable measuring, cutting, and repeating consistently)
- Assemble panels using standard wood, screws, and siding
- Paint/finish completed panels to the required standard
- Maintain clean, safe, organized work practices in your shop
- Submit completed Project Sets weekly to the assigned intake location
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of carpentry experience
- Working knowledge of angle cuts (must be able to cut accurately and repeatably)
- Ability to complete projects independently with consistent quality
- Proof of an acceptable shop/work station (safe, functional, and appropriate for carpentry + painting)

Preferred
Preferred Availability
- We prefer builders who have 24+ hours per week available to take on Project Sets consistently.
What Success Looks Like
- Panels are built square, strong, and consistent
- Cuts are clean and accurate (especially angles)
- Paint/finish is neat and complete
- Weekly submissions are on-time and meet acceptance standards
