Title: Operations Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA
Schedule: full-time on-site, Monday through Thursday; Remote on Friday’s
Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000
Our client is headquartered in San Francisco. They are a real estate investment company focused on real estate investment, development, and advisory services.
Role Scope & Core Responsibilities
Manage daily office operations and workplace experience initiatives through administrative management. This includes primary oversight of office and food supplies, mail, packages, and deliveries.
Assist employees in expense reporting, travel planning, calendar management, and meeting coordination.
Serve as the point of contact for office and third-party vendors and for building property management: Manage office contracts and office maintenance and monitor office-related expenditures.
Manage the company’s benefits matters and assist with the company’s day-to-day human resources matters and related tasks; administer the company’s HR and benefits software provider. Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding.
Assist with office and employee compliance matters, including administration of required training programs and posting and notice requirements.
In partnership with Strada’s IT vendor, manage office IT systems, computer hardware, and software, and coordinate support for employees with technical issues.
Be proficient in computer technology and artificial intelligence. Oversee and manage all office AV and computer equipment, including conference room technology. Manage the employee cell phone program, repairs, and replacement.
Provide support to General Counsel, VP of Accounting and Finance, and investment team.
Tasks include coordinating notaries; scanning, filing, and compiling legal documents and investor reports; maintaining insurance files and supporting insurance renewals; and assisting with compliance activities.
Coordinate marketing efforts, including updates to the company website and collateral materials.
Assist Strada teams with administrative needs on an as-needed basis.
Coordinate team-building and client outreach efforts and activities.
Experience:
5–8+ years of experience in office operations, workplace experience, business operations, office management, or a similarly broad operational role, preferably within a professional services, real estate, investment management, finance, legal, or entrepreneurial environment.
This position is a hybrid role based in the company’s San Francisco office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High degree of integrity, professionalism, honesty, self-motivation, and positive attitude.
Extremely organized with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Highly proficient computer software skills, including expertise in using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to handle confidential company and personal information with discretion.
Undergraduate degree required.
Notary certification is a plus, or interest in obtaining one (the company will sponsor it).
HR or aPHR certification a plus, or interest in obtaining one (company will sponsor).
