PROJECT COORDINATOR – ARCHITECTURAL MILLWORK
Summit Architectural Products, a commercial architectural millwork company based in Bloomsbury, NJ, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our project management team.
This is a coordination-focused, in-office role supporting commercial millwork projects from submittal through installation. You will help keep projects organized, documentation current, communication flowing, and deadlines on track. Working closely with Project Managers, shop personnel, installers, architects, and clients, you'll play a key role in successful project delivery.
This position offers a clear growth path into an Assistant Project Manager role for the right candidate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage project documentation, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and approvals in Procore
- Track tasks, deadlines, and project follow-up items in Asana
- Coordinate change orders and assist with project documentation management
- Review and reference architectural drawings, millwork shop drawings, and project specifications
- Maintain communication between Project Managers, architects, contractors, vendors, and installation teams
- Help monitor project schedules and ensure critical items are followed through to completion
- Support project meetings by documenting action items and tracking follow-ups
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience with architectural millwork, casework, custom cabinetry, commercial interiors, or construction project coordination
- Hands-on Procore experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and shop drawings
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Local to the Bloomsbury, NJ area with reliable transportation
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Asana, Bluebeam, or similar project management software
- RFI, submittal, and change-order experience
- OSHA certification
- Experience working with commercial construction projects
