Express Employment is working with a local manufacturing company looking to add an experienced Machine Operators to their team!
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of production machinery to manufacture high-quality finished products in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all company and departmental safety policies, including wearing required PPE, adhering to machine safety procedures, using proper lifting techniques, and promptly reporting unsafe conditions to site leadership.
- Adhere to all documented work instructions, quality standards, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Read, understand, and apply information from work instructions, engineering drawings, machine manuals, and inspection checklists during the manufacturing process.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated ability to work safely with mechanical equipment
- Manufacturing experience (1 year preferred)
- Lean manufacturing experience (1 year preferred)
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements
Pay Range based on experience $18-21/hr
