Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose health issues using clinical knowledge.
- Perform surgical procedures
- Prescribe medications
- Educate pet owners on nutrition, preventative care, and general health
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with laboratory testing, analyze results, and interpret data to inform treatment plans.
- Support pet owners by providing education on pet care, pet grooming, and behavioral advice related to animal handling.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of overall patient care.
Qualifications
- Proven veterinary experience with a strong foundation in veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy knowledge.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Valid state veterinary license
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassion for animals and their owners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Critical care experience in veterinary settings is highly desirable for managing urgent cases effectively.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
