Environmental Engineering company seeks an entry-level engineer with up to 5 years’ experience in the environmental field. Candidate must be a self-motivated engineer willing to work at job sites and in an office setting. Our office is located in Astoria, NY.
Responsibilities for the position will include:
- Environmental and Engineering report writing
- Preparation of CAD drawings
- Routine dealings with various governmental agencies and clients
- Preparation of permit applications
- Inspections at job sites
- Obtaining soil, water and air samples at job sites
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of CAD drafting software (AutoCAD, TurboCAD, or similar) preferred
- Legal authorization to work in the US required
