Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of our state-of-the-art tractor-trailers to deliver freight across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. As a CDL A driver, you’ll be an essential part of our logistics operation, navigating over-the-road (OTR) routes and managing freight with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction on every journey.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules across OTR routes.
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment.
- Transport automobile parts or other cargo securely over long distances while maintaining vehicle safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking load securement on flatbeds or tankers.
- Document delivery activities accurately, including logs for hours of service, cargo documentation, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures for truck loading/unloading.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently; experience with manual handling is preferred.
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems for route planning on OTR routes.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance at all times.
- Prior experience in freight transportation involving logistics cargo handling and delivery of dangerous goods is highly desirable.

Pay: $200.00 - $450.00 per day
