In collaboration with the Director of Quality, the Outcomes Analyst is responsible for the coordination of all accreditation and regulatory activities (Joint Commission, CMS, etc.). This includes but not limited to checking websites for new information, and communication, organizing and facilitating Mon Heath’s on-going readiness activities, education, communication, mock tracer program, and organization and facilitation of actual surveys. The individual is responsible to evaluate the organization's compliance with Sentinel Event alerts and to document and communicate appropriate recommendations for improvement. This individual serves and the conduit and liaison to provide Regulatory and Accreditation updates to senior leadership. This person is responsible for hospital wide identification, collection, analysis and reporting of data and information to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement : Nursing Degree, BSN preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirement : Three (3) years' experience in hospital setting with experience/knowledge in Quality Management. Knowledge of word processing, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Knowledge of Process Improvement and appropriate statistical tools for analysis of data. Has participated in a minimum of one Joint Commission survey in some capacity (Scribe, Escort) Must be familiar with Joint Commission standards. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation skills. Experience working directly with physicians on committees. Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to sensitive information.
Minimum License Requirement : WV Licensed Registered Nurse.
