What You'll Do
As an Armed Security Officer, you'll help protect people, property, and critical facilities by:
- Maintaining a visible security presence
- Conducting interior and exterior patrols
- Monitoring entrances, exits, and controlled access points
- Verifying employee and visitor credentials
- Responding to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
- Completing detailed incident reports and daily activity logs
- Monitoring CCTV and security systems
- Enforcing site policies and security procedures
- Providing professional customer service while maintaining a safe environment
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- At least 3 years of one of the following:
- Armed Security experience
- Active-duty military or military police experience
- Federal, state, or local law enforcement experience
- Valid North Carolina Armed Guard Card
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following are encouraged to apply:

- Access control and CCTV experience
- Emergency response experience
- CPR, First Aid, or similar certifications
