The Senior Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the operational activities across various projects and departments, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to company standards and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage daily operational activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
- Oversee project managers and operations teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Prepare and present operational reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize operational workflows.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, HR, and business development, to achieve organizational goals.
- Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, across multiple projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for operational challenges.
Job Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in operations management within the construction or engineering industries, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and operational teams.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, financial management, and operational best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry.
- Ability to travel frequently to various project sites as required.
